Rice cooker Chicken Rice: ข้าวมันไก่ (Kao man kai)

I believe that Kao man kai is one of famous Thai street food ^^, well because for me it's very delicious, haha.

Slightly oily cooked rice with boiled chicken pieces and Tao Jiaw sauce, richness, and saltiness are good combination. It can be found everywhere in Thailand (and there is another version call "Kao man Kai tod" or chicken rice with fried chicken) You may not know that it's very, very easy to create this dish at home and you only need rice cooker (or you can cook rice in the microwave too). No need to boil the chicken pieces separately, just put rice and chicken in the cooker and while cooking the taste of the chicken will melt into the cooked rice automatically. For authentic taste and texture, I suggest using Thai Jasmine rice, as the fragrance of the rice will make the Kao man kai more delicious.
The Tao Jiaw sauce is very easy to make, you can adjust the amount of the soy sauce, and  Red chillies to suit your taste.
